The season runs from the beginning of May until the end of August. We play the 18 hole Shaganappi Point course on both Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.

No. There's no obligation nor limitation whatsoever. Members can play on either Wednesdays or Sundays, or both.

Absolutely. All level of players are accepted. Our members' handicaps vary from almost scratch to about 30.

Registration fees are $100 per year. The fees cover the club membership and registration with Golf Canada and Alberta Golf, to maintain your official handicap factor. We also have a Hole in One fund. Green fees will be paid by the member for every time he plays. Membership fee payment can be done through e-transfer following instructions on this website. You may also pay by cheque or cash at our AGM or on the first day of play.

Members must be registered on our website with a username and a password. By logging in, members can select which date(s) they want to play throughout the season. Cut-off is 6 days prior to each event. Late cancellations need to be emailed to our website. If necessary, cancellations the day of play must be phoned in to the Shaganappi Club before your tee time.

We have a variety of tournaments throughout the season. We are all people who love the game of golf, playing for the fun of it. At the same time we abide by the official rules of golf in a very friendly environment.

As a Club, we must register our members in Golf Canada (Alberta Golf) as part of our club, for which we pay them for every member enrolled. Unfortunately we have not been successful in our discussions with Golf Canada to avoid the double payment for the overlap period. After the first season, the problem no longer exists as our club covers the registration (through the member dues) and the player does not need to continue paying as an individual.
It's also important to highlight that in order to change the players' home club with Alberta Golf to Shaganappi, the club is not allowed to ask for the change on the member's behalf.
